Crown molding is hung around the ceiling of a room to cover the seam between wall and ceiling and give the room a more finished look.  It sits at an angle between wall and ceiling and is designed to gracefully flare out to a finished top edge.  Multiple pieces of moulding can be layered together for a larger, more elaborate finish.

Some people think of crown as a do-it-yourself home improvement project, but installing crown can be very time-consuming and frustrating for homeowners because the learning curve is so high.  A seasoned professional can not only crown a room in a fraction of the time, they can design and install complicated multi-layered crown where desired.

We consider crown to be one of our specialties.  It is important to choose the proper crown to fit the character of any room.  Larger, more intricate crown will give a room a more opulent feeling, but you must be careful not to choose crown too large or small for your ceiling height.  If the crown is too large it will appear to shrink the proportions of the room; crown that is too small or plain for your house will not have the desired impact.  We have experience crowning every type of home and can help you find the look that is perfect for you.
